Pema Reed moved to upstate NY in 2004 after living in California, Italy and India. In 1997, an earthquake struck Umbria, Italy, and she helped in the effort to get supplies and meals to damaged villages. In the Himalayas she experienced monsoon flooding, washed out roads and melting glaciers. Pema now is involved with local climate awareness initiatives, her main concern being emergency preparedness.

Dr. Linda Kasal Fusco has been a life-long advocate for sustaining the environment. A graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh, she is in her 49th year as a New York State public school educator. Linda has served as both a teacher of secondary science (Earth Science, AP Environmental Science, Physics) and mathematics. She is the author of Navigating MathLand: How Parents Can Help Their Kids Through the Maze. Her passion for the environment has been fueled by her 6 decades of sailing on Lake George and Long Island Sound. For 3 decades, Linda has been an ardent SCUBA diver – an avocation that has taken her from east coast wreck diving to a study of Loch Ness. As the New York Governor’s appointee, she spent 1992-1993 as the Langley Air Force Base, VA, as an EPA Education Fellow writing environmental compliance (ECAMP) training manuals to instruct Air Force personnel. Currently, she spends over 60 days a year as an educational consultant in New York City schools.
Tony spent the last five decades in technical/design production, custom fabrication & the execution of various “environments for entertainment” world-wide both professionally & within academia.
